a fun wow today!
At almost 2 years out, the wow moments don't come quite as frequently as in the early days, but they're all the more sweet for that when they do.
As katie and I got home from Liz and Chris' open house (where we had a GREAT time), she got a call about a change in her plans for tonight, and that meant she had no time to unpack and find clothes to wear to the concert. She turned to me and said "can i borrow some of your clothes? you have such great stuff!" She ended up wearing a pair of my leggings with one of my favorite tunic sweaters and looked amazing... and they fit her perfectly! We wear different jeans sizes and shoe sizes, but can share pretty much everything else. This is my awesome, gorgeous 21-year-old whose figure I've always envied! And she's wearing MY clothes! Wow.
Never, ever, ever thought I'd see that happen!

Last summer, my Sarah knew I needed a jacket on a cool evening, and handed me one of hers! Now, Sarah is about the size of my left arm, even after bearing 3 children...but that she even THOUGHT her jacket would fit me was a wow! And then when she saw my aviator pic, she said this on facebook: that's one hot mama! No, wait! That's MY hot mama!
